History

Creative momentum, know-how, roots and poetry around leather and embroidery.
Welcome to my world.
Because discovering authentic creations enriches your projects, I will take you through what makes the brand unique: Goldouz Paris .
At Goldouz Paris, each creation is an expression of my path, my roots and my passion for art and cultures.
Franco-Iranian, artist, craftswoman and modern woman attached to my ancestral Persian origins, I bring these different facets to my creations thanks to the association of two worlds: embroidery and leatherwork.
My goal is to offer you poetic, unique and inspiring objects.
Who is Sarah Goldouz?
This name, which means "embroiderer" in Persian, reflects my family heritage.
My father came from a line of embroiderers. As for my mother, her family moved between drawing and weaving Persian carpets.
Arriving in France at the age of 20, I turned to the textile industry and ready-to-wear. Far from creation, in positions of responsibility, I entertained the idea of launching myself into crafts.
My wish: to rediscover contact with materials and reconnect with my roots. Embroidery then becomes obvious, but in my own way. That is to say, associated with other techniques, other materials, all equally noble.
I really enjoyed the first attempts at embroidery on leather.
The choice of plants and flowers as the common thread of my creation finds its source in the scent of the dahlias of my childhood and in my quest for discreet elegance.
Naturally, my creations found their place, mounted on leather goods, mixing ancestral Iranian know-how with French, acquired from seasoned craftsmen.
Aware of our impact and noting the significant losses of raw materials from one production to another, I undertook to recycle my offcuts.
This is how floral compositions were born in the form of unique paintings.
